About the job

At Alfa Laval, we specialize in delivering cutting-edge technologies to make a positive impact on the world. We are looking for a Master Thesis Student with the background in Mechanical Design to join our team and play a key role in designing innovative solutions that contribute to sustainability and efficiency.

The role includes

• Mechanical engineering and design of components, systems and plants to various industries for low level complexity projects.

• Preparation of technical specifications and other documents of the project.

• Make technical calculations and verifications.

• Select and design products and solutions based on customer requests and applicable standards and codes.

• Deliver input to improve current technical solutions and / or develop new solutions to ensure our competitive advantage.

• Participate in verification and project meetings.

• Close cooperation with purchase in handling of suppliers.

Who you are

We are looking for someone with a passion for engineering and innovation, who is eager to solve technical challenges and contribute to sustainable solutions. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in engineering design software.

• A proactive and innovative mindset.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
