About the job
As our new Accounting Manager, you will assume responsibility across two key areas: financial reporting and team leadership. Your primary focus will be on delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality financial reporting, while also leading and developing a team of seven dedicated colleagues, leveraging your strong professional expertise. Operating within a complex matrix organization, you will be accountable for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement across all accounting processes.
Your primary task will be:
Act as the process owner for accounting activities, ensuring quality and consistency, and driving continuous improvements through a hands-on approach.
Responsible for accurate and appropriate recording of all accounting transactions.
Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and quality in financial processes, including accounting and reporting.
Responsible for completing full P&L and Balance Sheet as well as securing Statutory and Tax Reporting.
Focus on compliance and corporate governance.
Manage key stakeholders, including auditors, external authorities, and our Finance Shared Service Center etc.
Contribute to the implementation of new ERP system, D365.
Establish and monitor internal control procedures to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and group policies.
Coordinate with external auditors and ensure the delivery of high-quality materials.
About you
You are a positive and committed self-starter with strong implementation skills and a well-developed sense of ownership. Known for being both likable and trustworthy, you build confidence in your colleagues and stakeholders alike.
As a leader, you create trust, well-being, and collaboration within your team, combining openness and approachability with a structured and analytical mindset. You are well organized, able to work independently toward defined targets, and consistently maintain focus on delivering results.
With excellent communication and collaboration skills, you navigate complex environments with ease. You bring strong interpersonal capabilities and possess both tactical insight and hands-on operational expertise, enabling you to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day execution.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong background in accounting with extensive practical experience.
Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), ERP systems, and Business Intelligence tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background from an audit firm.
Experience in tax and transfer pricing.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
