Field Service Operations Department is looking for a Field Service Engineer to be located in Dubai, UAE. This is

· About the Job
• Undertaking servicing of equipment (on-site & service center) as per Alfa Laval standards and procedures
• Safety 1st Behavioral Attitude. (Stop-Think-Act)
• Responsible for installation, commissioning, Trouble shooting, Audits, developing solutions, fault finding, repairs and maintenance of products such as high-speed separators & decanters used in various process industries and plate heat exchangers.
• Act as a service advisor for Alfa Laval helping to accelerate service business growth.
• Troubleshooting of Electrical / PLC controls (EPC controls, 2 touch, basic & Plus controls), training customer crew on Alfa Laval equipment.
• Executing Audits and maintenance activities related to Service Agreements.
• Explore business development and every possible opportunity.
• Ensure fulfilment of service visits as per service agreements.
• Ensure documentation of every visit and minute all observations and commitments with the customer.
• Resolve customer complaints in the shortest time possible
• Communication of problems observed to the respective managers for preventative/remedial actions.
• Proactively recommend to customers on timely purchasing of spares and timely servicing
• Concerted effort to advise customers for service agreements.
• Train customers or other Field Service Engineers on basic product features.
• Enhance technical abilities and competencies with every service experience and company resources available
• Heat Exchange component Trouble shooting, Stripping, Assessment, Cleaning, Repair, Assembly and Testing. (Primary)
• Rotating equipment Mechanical, Electrical Trouble shooting, Service, Stripping, Assessment, Cleaning, Repair, Assembly, Testing, Installation and commissioning
• Support remote guidance service to customer when and where required.
• Adhere to Quality & Safety (QHSE) Procedures
• Effective using of AL system tools (OneService, Lead app, HSE Near miss app, E-Learning portal, Workday, Sensei IB)
• Generate service business Leads by effective using of the FSE Lead app
• Reporting Near Miss using the HSE digital platform
• Timely submission of Service reports, Expense report and payroll, customer signed timesheet.
• Participate in adhoc service transformation projects assigned by Service Management
• Supporting Sales functions in technical solutions and participate in technical forums

• Further, good communication skills in English, spoken and written, are essential, along with an understanding of Microsoft Office products. Driving license is required.
Qualifications & experience:
• Engineering background / Mechanical / Electrical / Automation with hands on experience.
• Process control instrumentation, understanding of software programmes and industrial networking experience and knowledge will be an advantage
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in rotating equipment, heat exchangers, decanters, high speed separators and associated equipment.
• Good knowledge & practical skills in Microsoft office packages and digital reporting.
• Good communication & negotiation skills. Express verbal and written ideas effectively to all levels of people.

Physical & Environmental Factors
Office environment with frequent attendance on the shop floor. Safety equipment required when present on the shop floor – footwear, hearing, eyewear.
Environmental Factors (hazardous materials, work location, work surfaces, exposure).
