About the Role
As HSEQ Manager, you will work strategically to further develop and drive our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality agenda across Alfa Laval Nordic. You will be our trusted advisor, supporting leaders and teams in systematically implementing compliance, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives. By building engagement, encouraging shared ownership, and promoting open dialogue, you help create a proactive and accountable HSEQ environment across the 4 Nordic countries. Key responsibilities are:
Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to build ownership, accountability, and long-term commitment
Advise and engage Field Service, Service Centers, and Sales to uphold high standards.
Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Identify and proactively mitigate risks to safeguard employees, customers, and the business.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety culture, quality performance, and environmental impact in alignment with our global strategy
Further develop our quality management framework and ensure compliance across our business
Plan and execute internal and external audits, ensuring effective follow-up and sustainable resolution of findings.
Monitor, analyze, and report on the KPIs, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.
At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position can be based at our Søborg or Lund office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 50-60 days per year.
What you know
You bring solid expertise in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing context, combining regulatory knowledge with practical implementation and stakeholder engagement.
A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Sustainability, or a related field
5–10 years of experience in HSEQ within industrial, manufacturing, or process-driven environments across multiple countries (preferably Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway)
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to global industrial companies
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and hold constructive performance dialogues to strengthen line ownership
Proven experience implementing and maintaining a Health and Safety or Quality Management System
Hands-on experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and corrective action programs
Experience driving sustainability initiatives, including environmental performance, resource efficiency, and emissions reduction
Relevant experience with ISO preferred e.g., ISO 14001 / ISO 45001, or equivalent
