About the job

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes and systems within the production environment. The scope of the role includes analyzing workflows, implementing new technologies, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The purpose of this position is to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality, supporting the organization’s overall operational and strategic objectives.

This is an onsite opportunity located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Support daily production operations by resolving technical and process-related issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introduction and industrialization activities.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, tools, and equipment.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to quality and production challenges.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Participate in capacity planning, layout improvements, and production line optimization.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support process improvements and operational reliability.
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives by improving resource efficiency, reducing emissions, and minimizing material waste.
  • Support digitalization and smart manufacturing initiatives where applicable.

What you know:

You have Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with relevant work experience, and:

  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working with lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and process improvement methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing-related systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and structured problem-solving tools.
  • Experience in assembly, machining, welding, or process manufacturing environments.
  • Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

  • Office environment with frequent attendance on the shop floor.
  • Shop floor: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs).
  • Shop floor: Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • Shop floor: The noise level in the work environment is often loud.
