About the role
As a Project Manager Production & Technology, you will be responsible for projects that develop and improve our production operations. These may include new investments, equipment installations, continuous improvement projects, and other technical development activities.
You will lead projects from ideas and planning through execution and follow-up. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues through Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, Finance, and Production Engineering, as well as with external suppliers.
The role offers broad exposure across the organization and excellent opportunities to influence how we continue to develop our manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities for this role entail:
• Plan, lead, and follow up on technical projects within our manufacturing operations.
• Define project goals, timelines, budgets, and resource plans together with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across functions and with external partners.
• Identify and manage risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance and ensure objectives are achieved.
• Present status updates and results for management and other stakeholders
• Contribute to developing our ways of working and sharing lessons learned from completed
projects.
• Support initiatives that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and sustainability across our
operations.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden, within GCC Technology. You will report to the Unit Manager GCC Technology. The role involves approximately 15 travel days per year.
Who you are
We believe you enjoy creating structures, building strong relationships, and moving projects forward together with others. You have an interest in technology and manufacturing and enjoy solving practical, business-related challenges. You are a strong communicator who collaborates effectively with people from different backgrounds and areas of expertise.
What you know
• A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in leading projects or coordinating technical initiatives within manufacturing,
industry, or a similar environment.
• An understanding of technical processes and production environments.
• Strong planning, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Experience working with CAD or PDM systems is a merit
• Knowledge about Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt certification) is a merit
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken is a must
