About the job…
As a Service Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval products and services within a defined area of responsibility (e. g. geographical, group of customer, industry or product group etc.). You will work with the support of the line manager or another experienced field salesperson.
This is a hybrid position located in Kenosha, WI or Greenwood, IN.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute sales plans for target accounts within Commercial& Residential Buildings.
Discover new business opportunities in the market& develop new business for heat exchangers service.
Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.
Collaborate with service operations team to provide superior customer experience.
Perform energy saving evaluation using Alfa Laval tools and processes to help customers achieve their sustainability goals.
Ownership of lead to fulfillment process including but not limited to:
Prospecting.
Quotation preparation.
Negotiation.
Securing purchase orders.
Overseeing service execution.
Support marketing activities in conjunction with Demand Generation Team.
Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions.

What you know:
You are a proactive sales professional eager to build long term relationship with clients, with knowledge and experience in the Energy sector:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales related to data center or HVAC preferable.
Strong interpersonal collaboration, leadership and sales skills.
Knowledge of data centers preferable.
Proactive, curious, open-minded and team player.
Willingness to travel 60%.
What’s in it for you?
At Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine your total compensation package. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job, background, skills, and experience to get it right. The base salary for this role is typically $85,000 to $105,000.
