Roles & Responsibilities
Management
- Lead and manage the team giving the direction and ensuring that they are performing with a strong customer orientated mindset.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding process for the team.
- Develop, motivate, and coach direct reports and secure a proper competence development by driving internal and external trainings. Ensure that Engineers with the correct skills are utilized for the relevant jobs.
- Conduct employee reviews, include competence profile and skills matrix updates and performance development plans when it is required. Manage performance issues within the team appropriately and quickly. Support team to develop career path and succession planning.
- Cost effective management of team aligned with the approved budget for operations (general purchases) and according to sales quotations (jobs related costs).
Coordination
- Overall responsible for planning and daily management of Service Engineers work schedules – supported by Coordinator
- Receiving service request from sales, assess the service requirement and communicate with sales/customer if clarification is needed
- Ensure effective communication with customers on job planning and coordination of jobs with the team.
- Prepare assessments ready for quotations and check final service reports and job costings.
Other
- Secure a strong QHSE culture within the team.
- Ensure that the team are equipped with the right tools, PPE and conduct frequent audits on tools and equipment etc. Ensure all tools and equipment are calibrated and documented.
- Collaborate with sales team and Service Operation management in service transformation initiatives.
- Be accountable for the team KPI’s.
- Be involved and support implementation of digitalization and transformation initiatives.
- First responder for technical issues.
