About the job

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

We are looking for a talented, experienced, and dynamic Video Editor who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and excels at delivering high-quality work. You will be responsible for global video production that aligns with our brand vision and core narrative, and that helps the business deliver on its targets. As part of our team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across all Alfa Laval divisions in a complex matrix organization.

This role is ideal for someone who can produce quality video content efficiently, but also asks tough questions, challenges vague briefs, and brings structure to the debriefing process — ensuring alignment across all teams. If you are passionate about effective video communication, stakeholder collaboration, and brand integrity, we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

Creative production: Manage video projects from start to finish, from initial concepts through to final production, post-production, and delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Some projects will involve ensuring new footage is created following quality and brand guidelines, but it will be common to re-work, edit, and optimize existing video material for use in various internal and external channels.

Interpret and execute brand guidelines: Ensure all visual assets and communications reflect the brand’s tone, style, and identity consistently across all platforms.

Stakeholder management: Collaborate with cross-divisional teams in a complex matrix structure, maintaining clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Briefing & debriefing: Challenge vague or unclear briefs with thoughtful questions and insights. Lead debriefing processes to ensure all parties are aligned on project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other internal teams to deliver on-brand visual solutions that meet business needs.

Drive creative innovation: Be proactive in suggesting new ideas, creative approaches, and design trends that can elevate the brand.

Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: Create outstanding videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and other related video and graphics editing applications.

This is who you are:

  • 5+ years of relevant, preferably corporate experience in video editing and post-production with an understanding of how to adapt video storytelling to different digital media channels in a corporate landscape.

  • Highly collaborative, excellent stakeholder manager across both subject-matter experts and non-experts.

  • Skilled and ambitious, with proven experience working within brand guidelines and practical constraints to creative expression.

  • Able to also support quality video production at scale, e.g. by enabling others to create specific types of videos, through guidelines, template creation, and training.

  • Fluent in English, written and spoken, with attention to quality and clarity of the messages delivered in the end products.

The position will be based in Lund, Sweden.

What’s in it for you?
We offer a challenging position in a global, open, and friendly environment. Your work will have a true impact on Alfa Laval’s future success. The nature of the job also means that you will cooperate closely with many different parts of our organization, building both a broad business knowledge as well as a global network of colleagues.

Assessment practicalities
We care about diversity, inclusion, and equity in our recruitment processes. We also believe behavioral traits can provide important insights into a candidate's fit to a role. To help us achieve this we apply Pymetrics assessments, and upon application you will be invited to play the assessment games.
