Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About The Job

In this role, you will support both internal and external global customers with troubleshooting and technical advice related to the decanter, primarily focusing on mechanical parts and systems. You will play a key role in solving technical challenges, supporting service activities, and working closely with colleagues across the organization to ensure reliable and efficient solutions for customers.

  • Resolve technical service-related questions through the helpdesk

  • Troubleshoot decanters, with a primary focus on mechanical components and systems

  • Prepare technical quotations for engineering orders, including spare parts and upgrade kits

  • Contribute to spare parts planning to ensure availability and efficiency

  • Coordinate and drive projects together with other stakeholders across Alfa Laval, including Product Management and R&D

  • Identify, where relevant, new opportunities for growth through customer interactions and technical insights

At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is at our Copenhagen office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 20 – 30 days per year.

What You Know

You bring strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of decanter technology, combined with insight into how mechanical process equipment performs in real industrial applications. Your background allows you to bridge engineering knowledge with practical use, ensuring solutions that create real value for customers.

  • Technical background such as Mechanical Engineering, Operations Engineering, Marine Engineer, or similar

  • Expert knowledge of decanter centrifuges is mandatory for this role

  • Solid understanding of mechanical process equipment and its role in industrial processes

  • Experience from the processing industry is an advantage

  • Knowledge of High-Speed Separators (HSS) is a plus, but not required

  • A combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience is highly valued

About You

You are a proactive and curious professional who thrives in a dynamic, global environment. You enjoy taking ownership, working closely with customers and colleagues, and turning insights into practical solutions that create value.

  • You have a growth mindset and are motivated to learn and improve continuously

  • You are self-driven and decisive, comfortable taking ownership and making informed decisions

  • You are customer-centric and solution-oriented, always focused on creating value for customers

  • You are a clear and effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and translate technical topics into meaningful dialogue with stakeholders
