We are looking for you who are willing to take on the challenge of managing and driving projects and development activities for services in close cooperation with Service Portfolio management, other central colleagues in Business Unit Water, Industrial Flow & Heat Transfer Technologies (BU WIFH), and sales companies around the world.

About the job

The Global Service Sales role drives service sales development in close cooperation with Alfa Laval’s sales companies worldwide, contributing to increased volume and profitability across the Business Unit. You function as the main interface for the service salesforce on pricing and marketing, connecting the central organization with local teams by capturing customer needs, addressing pain points, and translating them into practical, value-creating commercial initiatives.

Your key tasks will be:

  • Drive the strategic development of the service business in selected regions to support growth and increase customer satisfaction.

  • Support, lead, and develop service concepts and projects in close collaboration with customers, sales companies, and business unit colleagues.

  • Drive competence development in product, application, and service capabilities.

  • Analyze the installed base and service coverage across the responsible regions.

  • Cooperate closely with equipment sales and sales companies on pricing strategies and price elasticity.

  • Engage with and support international key accounts.

At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is at our Copenhagen office, with an expected travel commitment of 30 – 60 days per year.

What you know

The role requires a strong combination of technical, commercial, and project management capabilities to drive service growth in a global business environment. Success depends on experience within process industries, the ability to work across functions and regions, and a structured approach to developing service concepts, pricing, and customer value. The ideal profile includes:

  • A degree in engineering, mechanical, chemical, environmental, or similar

  • A minimum of 3+ years of process experience in water treatment or in industrial sales and/or service.

  • Strong commercial mindset with relevant experience

  • Ability to drive and manage projects and networks within a global organization

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent in English, (Spanish is a plus)
