About the job…
In this role, the Marketing Operations Manager will lead a team responsible for supporting the development and execution of analytical plans which identify commercial performance and execution results as well as comprehend the impact of local market issues on sales performance and commercial execution. The role is responsible for overseeing that real-world, abstract business questions are translated into business models and tools that identify patterns and trends and provide actionable business insights. This role will be the local point of contact for CRM-related topics and local ambassador of our data quality efforts, ensuring that all customer data is activated in the most relevant way to craft commercial strategies with the goal of increasing business generation. Champion and support our ways to market and segmentation efforts. Drive and ensure our customer experience, commercial discipline, and commercial strategies are anchored into the local strategy.
This is a hybrid position located in Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities include:
Lead the Excellence Area (EA) team to achieve results across North American Sales Companies while representing local needs in global Excellence Area communities.
Collaborate with other EAs to align local agendas and strategies.
Engage with US and Canada Sales Company Management Teams on EA related topics ensuring strategic focus and prioritization for all North American Sales Companies.
Advise, determine, and develop the right set of tools and methodologies for the Commercial organization to improve business performance and more effectively drive Sales Force effectiveness.
Partner with multi-functional stakeholders in the development of initiatives in sales force management of projects.
Connect data sources, important data and transform data for Business Intelligence.
In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, defines and implements data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete and reliable.
Train and educate cross-functional Commercial stakeholders to drive adoption of developed processes and tools.
What you know:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field.
In-depth understanding of marketing and sales processes related to the customer journey to include funnel management, customer experience and segmentation as well as account and contacts management.
Experience in managing and analyzing data to provide business insights. Experience leading change with adapting new and improved methods of working.
Solid knowledge of CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), data visualization tool (PowerBI), ERPs, and IT-Data ecosystems.
Proven ability to influence results with peers, management teams, and stakeholders.
Proactive and excellent communication skills.
Travel availability 30%.
