Q&A with Lisa

What is your educational background? 

I studied Real Estate Science, focusing on the development of the society connected to real estate and the socioeconomic aspects. While learning more on real life and work I realized that I have a great interest in the great impact people, rightly equipped and rightly placed, have not only for an organization but also for all the external stakeholders. I added on studies in people and organizations. And here I am, working with exactly that – and loving it! 

Why did you choose to join Alfa Laval?

I came in contact with Alfa Laval through my previous job, working with people and organizations on the consultancy side, and independent of each other, they all spoke so highly of Alfa Laval, so when I got the opportunity to try it out myself, it was hard to refuse. And I have not regretted making that move one single day. 

Tell us about your role here at Alfa Laval? 

I work as an HR Business Partner where the the core of my work revolves around the development and guidance of people strategies that support and advance business objectives.

Tell us about the culture and life at Alfa Laval?

We have a solid, welcoming and open culture in which hierarchy plays a smaller role than networking and influencing.

What role does innovation play in your function?

Innovation is integral to the HR Business Partner role, enabling me to support business transformations, focus on talent management, and implement strategies that align with the organization's goals and the evolving business landscape.

How important is collaboration to you and your work? 

It´s instrumental! And the great thing is that I feel that our culture is not only supporting but also driving collaboration, which makes my life, as well as others, so much easier and also more fun and interesting.

How do you see Alfa Laval pioneering positive impact, and how are you contributing to this?

I clearly see this in most things that we do, with everything from our product innovations to new ways of working and new skills to develop. And since my work is all about supporting and advancing the business objectives, I´m able to contribute in various ways.
