The Food & Water (F&W) division is looking for a Field Sales Engineer in Food System Business Unit (FOS BU) for Evaporation solutions in Italy, based in Monza.

Management Level: Individual contributor

Reporting to Bu Manager Food System Adriatic

Who you are 

We are looking for a person with:

  • Proactivity and dedication with attitude for business development
  • Strong attitude for interpersonal relationships in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to commercially manage  sales with end-customers
  • Ability to handle technical, financial and legal negotiations
  • Ability to identify priorities, select the opportunities to follow-up
  • Teamwork orientation.

What about the job

The candidate will have to drive the sales activities in the BU Food Systems for Evaporation market unit, promoting both Systems (Evaporators, Aroma recovery, Retrofit components) and Solutions (complete and/or partial concentration lines).

She/He will be responsible for:

  • Promote, develop and ensure sales results
  • Being F&W division referent for Evaporation technology solution
  • Being agile to cross-working with central technology team based in Søborg/Copenhagen (DK) and local Sales Company organization: definition of technical solution, supporting for local quotation, definition of sales prices, lead the negotiation process with customer
  • Cooperate and support with Customer Care and Project Management team during project execution for an excellent customer experience
  • Availability to travel in Italy 50% of working time
  • Set solid and durable relationship between Industry Stakeholders and Alfa Laval Adriatic at any organizational level.

What you know 

Priority will be given to:

  • Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Energetic preferred)
  • B driving license
  • 5 years of previous work experience in sales
  • 3 years of previous work experience in food processing industry
  • Business knowledge of English, spoken and written
  • Italian Knowledge mandatory
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft ® Windows environments and the Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).
