Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, automation, electrical engineering, or comparable.
• At least a few years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in working with PLC’s and structured text, preferable B&R.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Having electrical or automation background but ability to work with mechanical work is a plus.
• Creative, analytical and conceptual skills.
• A self-starter who is able to come up with initiatives.
• A good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Readiness for travel.

About the job:

You will be part of the Product Development Department which is accountable for the development of fuel supply systems and HSS modules for the marine industry. The team is based in Monza (Italy) with offices also in Tumba (Sweden) and Shanghai (China).

You will report to the Quality Manager and work closely with the automation department based in Monza.

After a training period that will be mainly in Italy and will have the purpose of getting familiar both with the automation tools and with the software developed for our products, your responsibilities will be:

• Support Customers and Field Technicians by troubleshooting site issues with automation packages, including travel and direct communication with customers and suppliers as needed.
• Program PLC, HMI, and connectivity equipment.
• To contribute to onboard software testing, debugging and parameters setting.
• Training of customers operators and handing over of the installation
• Investigate and resolve technical problems on standard products at customer site.
• Analize system log files for trouble shooting and software improvements.  
• Write advanced reports of site activities or problem investigations.
• Participate in internal meetings with engineering to discuss/clarify issues and automation.
• Support technical writers for the creation of comprehensive and clear operating instructions.
• Participate in group continuous improvement initiatives and specific product line R&D.
