Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the job

As Global HSE Manager for Service Execution, You will be part of the Global Service Execution Management Team and play a key role in ensuring we protect our people, customers, and business.

You will make sure we have clear standards in place, that they are followed in practice, and that we continuously improve how we work with safety.

Our service teams often work under time pressure and in demanding conditions. That makes it essential to have a strong and practical approach to safety. Your job is to ensure that risks are understood, managed, and reduced — without slowing down the business unnecessarily.

You will work closely with service managers, operations, and technicians across regions. A big part of the role is making sure we meet relevant regulations (such as ISM, ISPS, and MARPOL) and ISO standards (ISO 45001 and 14001), but also helping the organisation move beyond compliance and take real ownership of safety in day-to-day work.

This role requires both structure and the ability to influence others. You will set clear ways of working around risk assessments, audits, and incident handling, while also supporting and guiding teams to take responsibility locally.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Conducting, reviewing, and managing risk assessments and implementing safety protocols for onboard service
  • Maintaining safety files, managing accident database, and preparing compliance reports
  • Having and out-side in approach looking af safety onboard vessels and implement safety structure/behavior
  • Conducting toolbox talks, training, and promoting a proactive safety culture
  • Performing regular audits and inspections of work environment to identify hazards

You will also contribute to the Global Service Execution Management Team and ensure HSE is part of how decisions are made.

Who you are

You are a credible and practical HSE professional who can work with people at all levels of the organisation. You know how to balance clear standards with real-world conditions, and you focus on what actually improves safety — not just what looks good on paper.

You are structured in how you work, comfortable in an international setting, and able to handle complexity without losing focus.

What you know

  • A degree in Marine Engineering or a related technical field
  • 3–5+ years of experience working with HSE, ideally in a marine or maritime setting
  • Good understanding of ISM, MARPOL, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and similar frameworks
  • Experience working across functions and geographies
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
