Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About The Job

As Global Product Lead for Digital Services, you will play a central role in shaping and scaling our digital service portfolio within Business Unit Hygienic Fluid Handling and Heat Transfer Technologies. Working as part of a cross-functional leadership team, you will drive product direction and ensure strong alignment between technology, commercial strategy and operations to deliver scalable, market-relevant solutions.

You will partner closely with the Head of Technology & Innovation and our Head of Revenue and Go-to-Market for Digital Services, forming a strong link to drive successful development and market execution. As the first hire in this function, you will also define how we structure and manage our portfolio going forward, with a focus on scaling condition monitoring as a core offering while evolving our broader digital services portfolio to encompass more services and team members. The role includes international travel, with direct engagement with customers, sales companies and partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product direction for digital services, covering both existing solutions and the evolving portfolio

  • Act as both a strategic and hands-on contributor, actively engaging with customers and supporting commercial efforts to drive adoption and revenue

  • Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities with a strong focus on scalability, customer value, and recurring revenue models

  • Contribute to packaging and pricing models from a product perspective, ensuring alignment between product design, value creation, and monetization

  • Co-develop and support global go-to-market strategies together with the leadership team and the Head of Revenue and Go-to-Market

  • Contribute to building and structuring the Digital Services Product & Portfolio Management function, including governance and ways of working

  • Ensure strong product market fit and value realization by continuously incorporating feedback from end customers and commercial teams

  • Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements and priorities for technology teams

  • Act as the central link between product, commercial, technology, and operations to ensure alignment and execution

  • Drive the evolution and scaling of our condition monitoring solutions as a key offering and refine this offering to create more customer value

  • Define and track product KPIs, including adoption, usage, retention, and value realization to enable insights for commercial teams and the product and technology organizations.

  • Contribute with Global Innovation Lead to identifying and shaping new digital service opportunities aligned with strategic growth priorities

At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position can be based at our Copenhagen or Kolding office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 25–35 days per year.

What You Know

  • MSc or BSc in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Business, or similar)

  • Proven experience in product management for digital, software, or IoT-based solutions in a B2B environment

  • Strong business orientation with experience working with or supporting subscription-based models (SaaS/XaaS)

  • Understanding of how product decisions impact packaging, pricing, monetization, and recurring revenue growth

  • Experience with condition monitoring, IoT, or data-driven service offerings is a strong advantage

  • Industry experience within industrial equipment, process industries, or similar domains is considered an advantage

  • Experience working closely with customers and commercial teams to shape product direction

  • Ability to operate effectively as both a strategic thinker and hands-on contributor

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across commercial, technical, and operational functions

  • Structured and analytical approach to product management, with the ability to prioritize and make trade-offs

  • Familiarity with agile or iterative development approaches as well as hardware business structures.

About You

You are a commercially driven product manager with a strong track record of scaling digital or service-based businesses from early product–market fit to sustainable global growth. You bring a digital mindset and operate effectively in complex industrial environments, navigating multiple stakeholders and aligning diverse interests. You have experience building and developing commercial organizations, bringing structure, clarity and discipline to go-to-market execution, and translating early traction into scalable and repeatable growth with a strong focus on revenue operations and performance.

You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, comfortable defining direction and frameworks while also engaging in customer discovery and ensuring delivery of results.
