About the job

Alfa Laval is building its Industrial Flow business to shape the next generation of industrial fluid handling solutions. Our current portfolio is anchored in proven technologies, but we are expanding to meet the evolving demands of industrial applications.

As Global Technology Manager, Industrial Flow, you will play a key role in driving this transformation – building and leading a team with a start-up mindset, backed by the scale and expertise of Alfa Laval. This is a unique opportunity to help develop future-ready technologies for demanding industrial environments and to make a lasting impact on our growth journey.

In this role, you’ll get in early with an organization set for exciting expansion, both now and in the years to come. You’ll build and lead a team of product- and application experts, and play a hands-on role in supporting sales companies while developing people and driving development.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and building a global technology team
  • Developing strategies and focus areas for technology and application development
  • Supporting sales companies with operational expertise
  • Coordinating activities with Global Sales and R&D to ensure alignment and synergy
  • Securing and developing team competence for new application development
  • Resource planning and follow-up on sales and activity targets
  • Continuing to build the team, develop people, and support sales

The position is based in our office in Kolding. We expect a travel commitment of approximately 20 days per year.

What You Know

  • M.Sc. in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the flow component business
  • At least 3 years of team leadership experience
  • Strong background in industrial flow applications
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives
  • Experience supporting sales and working in operational roles
  • Strong English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are a merit.
