About The Job

The IT Application Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing business applications in the Southeast Asia region, with a strong focus on ERP (iScala), reporting, and process automation. This role goes beyond traditional system support by helping the business optimize workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve decision-making through data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP or business applications, strong skills in data analysis and reporting, and a keen interest in automation tools. This role offers clear career growth into a business-focused IT position driving digital transformation across finance and supply chain functions

Job Description

  • Application Support & Management: Act as the regional support contact for our ERP (iScala) and related applications, ensuring stability, accuracy, and smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Business Process Understanding: Build a strong grasp of finance and supply chain workflows to design practical solutions that improve data accuracy and usability.

  • Automation & Efficiency: Identify manual, repetitive processes and implement automation to save time and reduce errors. Use tools such as SQL, Excel, Power Query, and low-code platforms.

  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Develop and maintain refreshable reports and dashboards for business stakeholders, enabling visibility into backlog, inventory, and working capital optimization.

  • Low-Code & Modern Tools: Leverage Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or similar tools to streamline workflows and provide user-friendly solutions.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance, supply chain, and regional business managers to gather requirements, deliver insights, and ensure IT solutions align with business objectives.

  • Continuous Learning: Expand expertise under the guidance of senior IT staff and business stakeholders, with opportunities to learn project management, advanced reporting, and digital transformation practices.

What You Know

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ working experience within ERP support, business applications, or data/reporting analysis.

  • Prior hands-on experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, iScala, Microsoft Dynamics) is highly desirable.

  • A basic understanding of core business functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations is a plus.

  • Strong skills in SQL, Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query), and VBA for data analysis and automation.

  • Experience with data integration and reporting tools.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or willingness to learn.

  • Openness to adopting modern digital tools (e.g., AI copilots, analytics platforms) to enhance business value.

  • Analytical and detail-oriented problem solver.

  • Effective communicator who can bridge IT and business users.

  • Proactive, curious, and motivated to drive process improvements.

  • Team player with a growth-oriented mindset and willingness to take ownership.
