About the job

As Buyer you will be responsible for securing that procurement is done at a competitive level on assigned projects by choosing suppliers, negotiating deals, and placing orders - in close collaboration with Engineering and Project Management. Primary tasks include but not limited to:

• Project purchase for Food & Water industries.
• Request and negotiate quotations with focus on quality and total cost.
• Increase competitiveness in sales bid phase on customer projects.
• Deliver on key figures and follow-up on KPI’s.
• Secure visible cross-functional strategic stakeholder management.

What you know

You have relevant procurement education, e.g., a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent, combined with a solid procurement experience within an international company. Experience with project and/or technical procurement will be an advantage. You also have solid experience with purchasing in ERP systems and you master spoken and written English at negotiation level.
