About the Job

This is a high-impact opportunity to join an inclusive and diverse organization. Based at the Alfa Laval office in São Paulo, Brazil, this role focuses on Product and Application Specialization for our Separation Technologies portfolio (Disc Stack Centrifuges, Decanters, and Membrane Systems) within the Food, Beverage, Biofuels, and Pharma industries.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the Capital Sales team by bridging the gap between complex engineering and commercial success. If you are looking for a position that challenges you to grow, develop your technical-commercial expertise, and make a real impact on sustainability, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical advice and local support on Products and Applications related to Disc Stack Centrifuges, Decanters, and Membrane Systems.
  • Conduct joint customer visits to provide technical backing, application expertise, and "hands-on" assessment of process challenges
  • Prepare high-quality technical and commercial quotations based on customer needs, articulating complex value propositions into clear process benefits for the customer
  • Provide specialized technical advice on products and applications, offering support on sales-related claims and performance warranties
  • Drive the development and proper adoption of internal sales tools, configurators, and local technical materials to increase team productivity and accuracy
  • Proactively identify and advise on cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the full separation portfolio
  • Lead training sessions to elevate the technical proficiency of the local teams
  • Work closely with Global Business Units and the Central Organization to align local demands
  • Validate costing and develop standardized offers based on the Separation Technologies portfolio
  • Drive sustainable solutions by performing comprehensive equipment and process audits to optimize yield, energy, water, and waste performances

Who You Are

You are a self-motivated professional with a curious mind and a natural ability to network in international and cross-cultural environments. You embody Alfa Laval’s core drivers: Action, Interaction, and Satisfaction. Driven by results, you focus on solutions rather than problems, effectively prioritizing tasks in a high-paced, dynamic environment.

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Food Engineering, Automation, Production)

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Process Engineering or Project Engineering for Capital Equipment, specifically within the Food & Beverage and/or Life Sciences industries (Mandatory).
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on or commercial experience with Separation Equipment (Centrifuges, Decanters, Membrane Systems, or Filter Systems) (Mandatory).
    • Previous experience with Product & Application of Industrial Equipment for separation processes is a strong plus.
    • Green Belt or Black Belt knowledge and certification will be considered a plus.
