We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector resource for our site located in Monza, Italy.

Main activities:

  • Analysis/management of non-conformities with registration, developing remedial and corrective actions using the DMAIC approach.
  • Issuing complaints to internal and external suppliers, monitoring progress and closure actions.
  • Supporting the issuance of requests for updates to drawings and product documents in the context of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating in the definition of methods/procedures within the context of continuous improvement.
  • Inspection of incoming material, following directives from factory planning, production manager, and quality manager.
  • Definition of inspection routines for incoming material and finished products, considering recorded non-conformities.
  • Finalization of welding books, welding maps, and certification books in accordance with inspection and test plans, project planning, and directives from the welding department, engineering department, and quality department.
  • Collection of the certificates required by inspection and test plans, which are under the responsibility of the internal factory.
  • Activation of inspections involving third parties, based on inspection and test plans developed for specific projects.
  • Support for third-party inspections, presenting the necessary quality documents.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of factory instruments, renewing calibrations before expiration dates.

Knowledge:

  • Technical education with experience in technical drawings
  • Experience in quality inspections in industrial segment
  • Knowledge in skid-based packages (pumps, heat exchangers, piping, valves, instruments …) and related manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge and experience with Marine classification societies will be an asset.

Skills:

  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Microsoft office: Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Experience with manufacturing quality tasks: min 5 years
  • Good people skills.
