Who you are:

Based upon the Alfa Laval sourcing objectives, commodity strategy and initiatives from the Handshake Process, execute and develop the Optimal Supplier Base solution regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost on the goods/services to be delivered to HFH in line with Alfa Laval Purchasing Process.

About the job:

COGS reduction (PI) initiative

• Drive projects for cost reduction (PI) to fulfil saving target.
• Support new production development and localization sourcing activities in site if have.
• Support new supplier identify and existed suppliers’ combination with Global purchasing and COM when need.

Supplier quality and continuously improvement

• Supplier Quality based on BI source and get alignment with monthly scorecard reports from site.
• Drive supplier development activities (GB) when needed and appointed.
• PIM/Pre-PIM follow up weekly. Highlight supplier issues to Sourcing Manager.

Supplier delivery and lead time

• Supplier DOT base on BI source and get alignment with monthly scorecard reports from site.
• Follow up supplier stock accord to the signed agreement and also monitor lead time timely from supplier. find root cause and make the correct action plan when deviation to be found.

Compliance & Sustainability

• Follow up supplier audit/business principal audit deviations to ensure supplier fulfil Alfa Laval demanding.

• High awareness of early warning regarding possible risk of supply chain.
• Run sustainability projects with suppliers.

System maintenance

• Work with Com to update supplier information (purchasing price, certificate, lead time, KSA and other related documents.)
• Documents in share update timely;

What you know:

1. The ideal candidate should have University education background; mechanical major is preferred. *Familiar with various manufacturing processes such as stainless-steel casting and carbon steel casting, forging, sheet metal, machining, etc.

2. With 5-10 years sourcing or relevant working experience within manufacturing environment, mechanical technical background.

3. Familiar with LSS, Project management and PPAP, proficient in using excel tools.

4. Strong learning and data analysis ability, able to independently deal with problems in the work and make quick judgments and decisions.

5. Good negotiation skill with certain economic and legal knowledge.

6. Be able to quickly identify potential cost reduction opportunities in the work.

7. Result-driven and ability to work under pressure.

8. Good teamwork ability, willing to challenge complex tasks at work.

9. Excellent communication skills in written and oral in english is a must.

10. Always act and behave in accordance with Alfa Laval Business Principles.
