About This Job

The Service Center Team Manager is responsible for leading, developing and securing a high performing team in line with the overall Service strategy and the Alfa Laval culture in

  • Secure a strong QHSE culture within the Service Center organization.
  • Comply with AL Corporate Governance, HSE policy and ensure local legal compliance.
  • Drive ALPS process with the team (Alfa Laval continuous improvement program), 5S
  • Lead and support the Service Centre team to deliver high quality service execution.
  • Daily planning of workshop activities to ensure optimized utilization of resources and timely delivery.
  • Responsible to ensure technical file and job execution documentation are implemented & maintained.
  • Leading service centres (Douliu/Dafa) in the region and implement same standard best practices.
  • Planning the training & development needs to maintain competence and prepare for needs.
  • Ensure availability of resources & Manpower.
  • Responsible for the SCE's utilization and P3S operational result including investments and monitor progress against the target setting.
  • Lead the team even remotely giving the direction and ensuring that they are performing according with the service strategy with a strong customer orientated mindset.
  • Manage change to meet new market demands.
  • Leading change management to adapt to new market demands.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs for the service centre.

Qualifications & Professional Competencies

  • Fluent in English – Reading; Writing & Oral.
  • Degree of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experiences.   
  • >3 years of experiences of Management role with service experience.
  • Experience of factory management/improvement, E.g., 5S.
