Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Execute repairs and reconditioning of Decanters according to specifications, repair manuals and the defined job scope.
Non-destructive testing (dye penetrant)
Perform trial test runs when work is complete to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications.
Collaborate with service coordinators to plan and support daily work assigned.
Perform welding repairs utilising equipment & materials such as: MIG/TIG/SMAW.
Materials: Duplex, 316, MS, Bronze and Inconel, Stellite.
Peform coating: Tungsten, Stellite, Nickel and TM42.
Grinding, hard facing - Chrom Carb (N6006), Brazinf rods E7620
Qualifications & Competencies:
Welding qualification(s): Trade qualifications, pressure vessel certification
Non-destructive testing certification would be an advantage
