About the job

Oil & Gas industries put a high focus on saving energy and reducing their CO2 emissions, like we do at Alfa Laval. To serve our customers the best, we need to deliver an expertise, and this is where the Application Engineer excels.

The Oil & Gas industry market is an international business, and you will work both with colleagues and customers all over the world.

Your role will be to:

• Secure application expertise and leadership for our High Efficiency Heat Exchangers product portfolio
• Monitor trends and developments in some specific industries, covering legislation, technology and competitor intelligence
• Develop guidelines for the smartest design related to this application
• Support Sales companies with expertise and customer meetings
• Share application knowledge via internal and external training.

You will work in close cooperation with the Sales Companies as well as with the Marketing team/ Product Management

You report to the Global Sales Manager in BU WCT, and this position will be based Pune (India). Some travels should be expected approximately 15-20 days a year. Alfa Laval offers a hybrid work model with the opportunity to work from home when it fits with your tasks.

What you know

You have a solid engineering or technical background and proven experience in Oil & Gas. You are a good team player, and you have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Fluency in English is required.
