Scanjet Marine & System AB, a part of the Alfa Laval Group, is a world-leading and innovative company working with equipment for cleaning and level sensing for marine and land-based oil and chemical tanks. We also specialize in customized solutions for industrial tanks within the food and brewing industries.

Scanjet was started in 1987 in Sweden where the headquarter remains today. Scanjet has sister companies with production in Norway, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Poland, the UK, Indonesia, Singapore, and Shanghai. With these strategic geographical locations and a strong customer focus, we have successfully established ourselves as a world leader in our sector. We have a major focus on future products designed to meet strict industry standards as well as environmental requirements.

In our everyday work we are guided by our core values; customer-focused, professional and committed, cost-efficient, and keeping our promises. We are a workplace for everyone, and our success is built on a culture of diversity and inclusion. We welcome applicants from various backgrounds and experiences. Scanjet is now looking for an IT Technician to join our Scanjet IT team in Sjöbo.

About the Team

The Scanjet IT team is a small team of seven dedicated professionals, geographically distributed across multiple geographical locations and working closely with the business. We combine IT Operations and DevOps to deliver both stable day‑to‑day operations and continuous development.

The team is on a clear transformation journey, moving from reactive support to a structured, scalable, and proactive IT organization built on ITIL principles, modern DevOps practices, and close collaboration with the business.

About the role

As an IT Technician, you will:

  • Support end users with day‑to‑day IT needs via on‑site support, digital channels, and ticket handling.

  • Help improve and maintain our IT tools, assets, way of working, and Microsoft 365 environment.

  • Set up, configure, and support computers, devices, and applications for everyday use.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

  • Contribute to a secure, well‑documented, and maintained IT environment.

The position is full-time.

The position is based in Sjöbo, Sweden. Occasional travel to other Scanjet offices in Sweden or abroad is required once or twice per year.

Your background

You hold preferably a degree in technology and experience as an IT generalist. A solid, hands‑on understanding of IT Operations is considered an advantage, including client deployment, automation of administrative tasks, and server and network administration, as well as a structured and organized approach to keeping track of IT assets.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Intune device management.

  • User, group, and access management in Entra ID (Azure AD).

  • Experience with IT Asset and License Management (ITAM).

  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and structured IT service management.

  • Ability to use PowerShell and/or Power Automate to streamline tasks and reduce manual work.

  • Experience with permissions, structure, and day‑to‑day administration of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.

About you

You are comfortable working independently with everyday support tasks, while still eager to deepen your expertise and grow within the role.

You are service‑minded, structured, and enjoy solving problems and supporting colleagues in their daily work. As collaboration and communication are key in this role, you are confident communicating in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and thrive in a role with close interaction across the organization.

What we offer

Scanjet has grown steadily over recent years and continues its journey as a global leader in a fast‑moving industry. You’ll join a friendly, entrepreneurial workplace defined by collaboration, trust, and genuine southern Swedish hospitality. This is a great opportunity to grow, take ownership, and develop both technically and professionally.

You’ll take on real responsibility and have room to influence, combined with active coaching, guidance, and strong support for continuous learning and career development.
