The position / About the Job:

As our new Product/Application Expert, you will play a key role in supporting both internal and external customers by providing troubleshooting and expert technical advice. Your focus will be on controls and automation, with primary responsibility for delivering high-quality support for Alfa Laval’s decanter technology. In this role, you will ensure that customers receive timely, reliable solutions, enabling them to maximize uptime, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve technical complex questions related to Service in Helpdesk for internal and external customers.
• Prepare quotes, Technical and Commercial for engineered orders – Including spare parts and upgrade kits
• Contribute to Spare part planning
• Troubleshooting
• Coordinate and drive projects together with other stakeholders in Alfa Laval, e.g., PM and R&D
• To some extent, identify new opportunities for growth

Must have

• Deep Automation, Control, and connected services expert knowledge
• Experience and understanding from the process industry
• Hands on experience – Not only theoretical knowledge

• Education: Bachelor's in Engineering

What You Know

You have a solid expert understanding of control systems and automation, ideally combined with experience from the process industry. Your background could be as an Electrical, Operations, or Process Engineer, or perhaps as a Marine Engineer or in a similar technical field. What matters most is that you bring strong technical insight, problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply your expert knowledge in a practical, customer-focused environment.
