About the job

Within Alfa Laval U.S. organization, this role will be responsible for strategically leading and transforming the Service Division. In this position, you will define the long-term strategy, establish the organizational structure, and ensure we are positioned to serve our customers effectively while delivering an exceptional experience.

This role places a strong emphasis on driving organizational transformation, shifting the team toward a modern, proactive, and digitally enabled service model. A key focus will be strengthening customer centricity at every level and building a service organization that anticipates customer needs, enhances value, and supports sustainable growth.

           

This is a hybrid opportunity, located in Richmond, VA.

From a daily responsibility standpoint, you will:

  • Develop and implement the division business strategy, including business planning and targets according to the Sales company strategy.
  • Carry out market, customer and competitor analyses and reflect this in strategy and plans.
  • Drive sales and business development through the implementation of the business Units Strategy and Sales plans within the agreed operating budgets for the business units.
  • Forecasts Sales and budgets, and monitor progress against objectives and financial targets.
  • Be an active part in the US management team.
  • Lead the team giving direction and ensuring that they are performing according with the division strategy.
  • Develop, motivate and coach direct reports to secure the development of relevant competencies in the division, and be "coach the coach".
  • Plan and distribute the resources to optimize the results, use the synergies to improve the overall performance.
  • Leading change management to adapt to new market demands.
  • Secure Operations capabilities development linked to the overall strategy, focus areas and sales activities.
  • P&L responsibility for the division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar discipline.
  • 10+ Years experience in Business management in a matrix environment. 
  • Experience leading complex teams with enough depth of responsibility.
  • Proven success on business transformation and growth leadership.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
