About the job

As our Service Product Manager, you’ll play an important role in shaping Alfa Laval’s service portfolio and driving our business growth. You’ll collaborate with R&D, product managers, sales companies, and partners to ensure our services remain relevant, competitive, and customer-focused. Your impact will be felt across the organization as you help us understand our customers, develop our offerings, and ensure they get deployed in the markets. In this role, you will become part of a Service Product Management team in the Global Product Management which covers: Hygienic Pumps, Valves, Tank Equipment and Heat Exchangers. Starting with Heat Exchanger Services, you will play a key role in developing relevant Service offerings and be the owner of these.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the existing Service offering in the HFH Business unit related to Heat Exchangers: Integrity test-, Visual Condition Assessment- & Gasket Lifetime Prediction Tool
  • Define needs & demands for the development of the service product through engagement with Markets, Product Management, R&D and relevant stakeholders outside our Business Unit
  • Engage with Partners, Product Managers, Suppliers & Group IT to ensure commitment and development of the Service offerings for our Business Unit needs
  • Develop core content to support effective delivery of the service offering by Alfa Laval and local Partners
  • Develop training materials to support sales and execution
  • Define core content for sales tools and differentiation tools
  • Develop and deliver relevant training as train the trainer
  • Last line of support for Sales companies, Partners or Support teams regarding the Service offerings and related material
  • Adjusting field service offerings proposition to hygienic industry and potentially incorporate a mini-service center concept approach in the HFH Business Unit

This position is based in Lund, Sweden, with global travel estimated at 15-30 days per year, plus monthly single-day trips to Denmark (Kolding).

What You Know

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in product management, business development, or a related field
  • Experience in at least one of the following: service business, hygienic industry, or heat exchangers
  • Proven skills in value proposition development, product management and project management
  • Persistent Hands-on problem solver
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Sales enablement and execution experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically (20-30 days/year).
