We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver who will be responsible for managing daily shipping and receiving operations with a strong focus on inventory management, maintains accurate inventory records in Movex, contributes to the D365 implementation, coordinates shipments efficiently, and ensures safety standards are met across logistics operations.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records in the ERP system

  • Manage inventory control activities, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and reporting

  • Monitor goods received and ensure any discrepancies or deviations are properly recorded and communicated to management

  • Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods, including quantity verification and package condition checks

  • Arrange transportation and packaging of materials, collaborating closely with carriers and internal teams

  • Execute, track, and coordinate domestic and international shipments

  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Service Centre teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION DESIRED

Education (degree or years) and/or Certification/Registration:

  • Valid fork truck license
  • Crane certified
  • TDG Training

Type and Length of Experience:

  • 2 years shipping & receiving experience
  • Experience with inventory control

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes Desired in Candidate:

  •  Knowledge of M3/Movex or another AS400 platform
  • Strong organizational, oral and written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy with high level of self-initiative and strong sense of urgency. Ability to multitask.
  • High integrity.
  • Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office).
  • Safety mindset.
  • Familiarity with D365 is an asset

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

  • Required to lift 40 pounds in daily routine
  • Required to work in cold and hot climates

Compensation & Total Rewards
The salary range for this role is $55,000– $65,000 CAD annually, based on experience and role alignment. In addition to base compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development.

Bonus Opportunity

This position is eligible for a target bonus of up to 4% of annual base salary depending on experience, awarded based on the achievement of company performance metrics. Actual bonus amounts are contingent on annual business results and may vary accordingly.
