System Support, ALPS Digital Platform

  • Krakow
  • Lund
  • Full time

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

Background

Alfa Laval is currently on a digital transformation journey in many areas. The Operations Development team supports the business in making sustainable performance improvements, and to achieve its most important goals. The ALPS (Alfa Laval Production System) is part of our management system. It describes how we work, how we solve problems and how we continuously improve. ALPS is built upon Lean and Six Sigma philosophies and contains values (how we behave), principles (how we make decisions), methods and tools.

ALPS Digital Platform is the global digital platform to support development and deployment of ALPS. Currently ALPS Digital Platform includes the following applications:

  • Digital Status Board (DSB) supports efficient daily management on team level in all organizations – Factories, Business Units, Service, Sourcing, Sales and shared functions.

  • Digital Project Portfolio Board (D-PPB) supports efficient project portfolio management for organizations like Factories, Service Centers, Sales Companies, as well as project-oriented departments like R&D and Operations Development in Business Units/Product Groups.

  • ALPS Digital Cockpit – all visualized Power BI reports based on data in ALPS Digital Platform.
