About the job
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader Project Department to strengthen our Project Management Team. In this role, you will plan, supervise and manage project managers across a range of projects, in accordance with Alfa Laval´s project methodology to reach desired outcomes.

Our Alfa Laval site in Allschwil, Switzerland is one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of cryogenic pumps for the liquefied gas industry.

What you will do 

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Project Managers - fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous development
  • Oversee customer account allocation and ensure balanced workload distribution and high-quality delivery across the team
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders, resolving issues quickly and effectively
  • Drive excellence in project and programme execution through adherence to best practices, data integrity, and client engagement principles
  • Champion customer centricity, ensuring a consistently positive client experience across all touchpoints
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness 
  • Partner closely with Sales  Operations,  to strengthen customer relationships 
  • Host client visits and audits, representing the company's and operational capabilities with confidence and professionalism
  • Support strategic business transformation initiatives 

You are an experienced leader with a passion for customer success. You bring: 

  • Strong customer-facing and relationship management expertise 
  • Demonstrated leadership and line management experience, including performance management and team development
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage in strategic and challenging discussions
  • High commercial acumen and a strong understanding of project and business dynamics
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset - able to balance strategy with hands-on delivery
  • A collaborative leadership style, fostering trust, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
