Who are you?

You are a self-driven, structured and commercial minded engineer or economics student, curious and interested in learning and understanding how Alfa Laval brings value to customers. You enjoy networking and influencing, both through

physical and digital interactions. You have a keen interest in technical solutions enhancing sustainability and energy

efficiency and are looking for a possibility to combine studies with a relevant part-time job.

About the job

In this role, you will support our experienced and well-established sales team in the Nordics. We promote and sell

aftermarket parts and services for the Food & Pharma and Energy sectors in the Nordic countries.

You will support our customers and contribute to further growth and expanding our business. We aim to serve our

customers in the best possible way by going the extra mile and paying close attention to their needs. Close

cooperation within the sales team and other entities in the company is essential for success in this role.

This position is a part-time contract role estimated at 20 hours per week.

Key Tasks

With your ability to understand our customers and their specific needs, your main tasks will include:

• Following established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and services.

• Developing technical and value-based quotes reflecting customer needs, emphasizing unique selling points.

• Provide quotational support to colleagues in the sales team

• Providing technical support to customers during the quotation process

• Receive and check purchase orders from customers and ensure orders are correctly entered in our order

handling system

• Communicating technical knowledge to various clients.

What you know

You study for a degree in engineering or economics or related field. To be able to learn and grow in this student

work position, you possess the following capabilities:

• Curiosity and learning abilities

• Strong customer focus with excellent multitasking abilities.

• Agility and service-minded nature, ability to act quickly on customer requests, understanding the importance

of accuracy and efficiency.

• A digital mindset, open to changes and new technologies.

Classified by Alfa Laval as: Business

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

• Strong communication skills in both one Nordic language and English, both spoken and written.
