Background

As part of Alfa Laval’s digital transformation, the demand to modernize our service solutions and to standardize the way of working globally is higher and higher. The Sales and Service value stream focus on delivering great value and good experiences to our customers by providing accurate information and modernized tools, streamline and shortening the total process time. We are now looking for a Front-End developer.

About the job

We are a development team of 14 people working according to agile Scrum and SAFe frameworks. The team consists of Back-End developers, Front-End developers, QA Automated testers and is collaborating with UX designers and Infrastructure/DevOps specialist working together to create seamless and user-friendly interfaces. We are looking forward to being strengthened with a new Front-End developer. The office is in Lund and we practice a hybrid way of working.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React and other modern frontend technologies
• Continuously improve code quality and performance. 
• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices from senior developers.
• Ensure a high level of quality by adhering to best practices and contributing to code reviews.
• Use Git for source code version control, ensuring smooth collaboration with other developers. 
• Participate actively in an Agile development process to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Participate in team discussions and contribute innovative ideas for technical solutions. 
• Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications. 
• Work closely with the design, QA and back-end teams to ensure a smooth integration of front-end solutions. 

Who you are

You have a passion for front-end development and building engaging user interfaces. You are a team player, with good communication and collaboration skills and have a high level of curiosity and a learning mindset. You are in the beginning of your carrier as a Front-End developer and looking for your next challenge. You are open to learn new technologies and methodologies and are motivated to grow. You have an eye for detail and a desire to deliver high-quality and create value. You have experience in working in a development team using agile methodologies. You enjoy taking initiative as well as challenges and like to find a solution out from problems. You are eager to learn and enjoy to challenge yourself to growth.

What you know

You have 2+ years' experience of developing Frontends for web applications. Main knowledge is JavaScript/React/Redux and you are experienced in developing Progressive Web Apps, mobile first. Familiar with

CI/CD and tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
