Background

Alfa Laval is recognized as the market leader of heat exchange solutions within the Process Industry. The Process industries are in full transformation and need to increase their energy efficiency and reduce their carbon emissions to comply with their ambitious targets for the coming years. In Alfa Laval we provide sustainable and efficient solutions to help them to achieve these challenging targets.

About the job

We are looking for a proactive sales engineer, with outstanding commercial skills and a solid technical background, to help customers to boost their energy efficiency and transformation process with Alfa Laval innovative technological solutions.

You will deliver an outstanding customer experience, proposing our state-of-the-art heat exchange sustainable solutions to the process industry customers, mainly end users and some EPC contractors.

The responsibility requires a high level of coordination with the rest of the members of Iberica Sales Company and Business Unit central teams.

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop technical and value quotes reflecting the customer needs, highlighting the unique selling points, and doing thorough follow up of the projects.
  • Manage opportunities during the whole sales process, including heat exchangers design, quote preparation and commercial contractual negotiations, maximizing profitability for Alfa Laval
  • Look for and manage leads from the market to convert them in real business opportunities, growing and securing the projects pipeline.
  • Be active in the market and focus on making meetings and interactions with customers focusing on their needs. The cross-selling mindset, understanding and highlighting the value of our products and service offerings are key.
  • Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behavior, making business plans according to the business division strategy and targets.

 

Who you are

You are a dynamic and proactive individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. You possess a genuine curiosity for business development, leveraging market and data analysis to identify new opportunities. With a strong digital mindset and a focus on creating value beyond product sales, you are a challenging and results-oriented team player with excellent communication skills, energy, and drive.

What you know

You are an Industrial/Energy/Chemical Engineer or have a similar degree, with a strong and solid commercial orientation. We highly value knowledge of heat transfer technology and centrifugal separation. You are fluent in Spanish and English.
