Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

Background

We are currently on a major digital journey and have already adopted an agile way of working based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). We are building a global team to revolutionize our digital product lifecycle management, configuration, and supply chain capabilities. As we continue to onboard new teams throughout this year, this is a unique opportunity to join us and help mature our agile culture while shaping the future of our operations.

About the Job

As a Tacton Specialist, you will work closely with our technical teams and business stakeholders to develop effective solutions. Your responsibilities will include participating in the analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support of these solutions. You will be part of an agile team, collaborating with other specialists engaged in various initiatives, and you will have responsibility for your specific area. You will also play an important role in leading and managing project deliveries and development activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain solutions using the Tacton configuration platform

  • Drive initiatives and business requirements

  • Ensure solutions align with product requirements and customer needs

  • Support and maintain our solutions; take part in daily operations

  • Participate in documentation and testing

  • Work in an agile environment according to SAFe methodology

  • Switch and deliver between multiple applications/areas as needed by the team/value stream

Ideally, You Have:

  • Proven experience in Tacton configuration/modeling

  • Strong business analyst background, including requirements gathering and process mapping

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly

  • Familiarity with SAFe methodology

  • Experience with agile frameworks and continuous improvement practices

  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset

  • Adaptability to changing business priorities and technologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude

Who You Are

We believe you are motivated by optimizing processes to boost efficiency and quality, always with a strong business focus. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and skilled at networking across business functions in an international, cross-cultural environment. You are curious, proactive, and committed to expanding your knowledge and maintaining high productivity. You adapt easily to change, and your attention to detail ensures nothing is overlooked. With an analytical mindset, you focus on solutions rather than problems and effectively prioritize and execute tasks.

What You Know

You have an academic degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar relevant field, along with 3+ years of experience working with Tacton modeling and configuration. You have a proven track record in requirements definition, for example as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or in a similar role. Your excellent communication and presentation skills, together with fluency in business English, enable you to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. You have a genuine interest in and understanding of technical domains, combined with a functional and business-oriented mindset. Programming experience is an advantage, as is knowledge of Alfa Laval products.

What’s In It for You?

We offer a challenging position in an open and friendly environment where we support each other to develop and create value. Your work will have a true impact on Alfa Laval’s future success.
