VACANCY FOR BACKEND DEVELOPER

We are looking for a Backend Developer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our technology team. In this role, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable backend systems using .NET and Microsoft Azure services.

You will work closely with senior developers and the Tech Lead, contributing to new feature development, system enhancements, and cloud‑native microservices that support Alfa Laval’s digital product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services using .NET and Azure
• Implement new features and enhance existing services with a focus on quality, scalability, and reliability
• Develop and maintain Web APIs and microservices as part of a distributed system
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code following established coding standards and architectural guidelines
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and assist in improving performance and stability of backend components
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead, senior developers, and cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Frontend) to deliver features through the full development lifecycle

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development using .NET
• Experience working within existing backend systems or multi-service environments
• Ability to understand and navigate moderately complex technical systems

Skills:

• Hands-on experience with C# and .NET
• Knowledge of serverless apps and functions
• Experience of working with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps & Azure IoT Services
• Experience of writing SQL queries
• Knowledge of time series databases
• Experience of writing unit tests
