About the Job

As Head of Global Service Sales for Heat Exchanger Services within our Service Management Organization, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the service sales strategy for the Hygienic Fluid Handling & Heat Transfer Technologies Business Unit. In this leadership role, you will shape the direction of our global service organization with a huge potential growth, directly influencing growth, customer loyalty, and after-sales innovation. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders worldwide to elevate our service portfolio, set industry benchmarks, and deliver outstanding customer value.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze and develop new business opportunities for current and new service sales and upgrade packages.
  • Lead a team of experts in Business Development Partner Programs, Service Product Management, and Technology Management for a global service portfolio.
  • Drive profitable growth of after-sales (services and spare parts) through marketing, sales activities, and the development of new service products.
  • Coach and develop your team, ensuring clear direction and engaging communication with stakeholders, sales companies, and channel partners.
  • Be part of the service leadership team in the business unit, driving the service transformation agenda across Alfa Laval through strategic initiatives and service sales results.
  • Benchmark competitors and identify opportunities to enhance our competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Product Management to coordinate and drive after-sales activities and revenue streams.
  • Take an active role in our growth strategy by maturing and expanding our services business globally, and incentivizing service sales in our channel network.

This position is based in Lund, Sweden, with global travel estimated at 40-50 days per year, including monthly single-day trips to Denmark (Copenhagen and Kolding).

What You Know

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with heat exchangers technology, applications, and industry knowledge
  • At least 5 years’ responsibility for a service business area.
  • Master’s degree in a technical or commercial field
  • Proven management experience and a strategic, execution-focused mindset
  • Demonstrated B2B track record in developing and executing business plans to grow service sales of aftermarket parts and services, especially with Heat Exchangers and hygienic applications
  • Experience working in global matrix organizations, with the ability to navigate complex environments and collaborate across functions and regions
  • Proficiency in launching new service offerings, scaling mature products, and understanding go-to-market strategies, product management, and technology in a service business
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills, using insights and trends to drive progress.
