R&D Decanters, responsible for product and technology development of decanters, is searching for a mechanical engineering intern who would like to be part of expanding our technological knowledge and make an impact on the future development of decanters. We expect you to be midway through your bachelor's degree and have an intention to continue your studies in a master's program upon completion. You will have the opportunity to do both your bachelor and/or master thesis with us as well.
About The Job
Join our R&D team and dive into the exciting world of machinery development! Working closely with experienced engineers and researchers, you will take on hands-on challenges and play a key role in improving the robustness of our machinery, with a primary focus on ventilation of our machinery. Your tasks will include:
Driving experimental work and helping ensure laboratory and pilot tests run smoothly and on schedule.
Collecting and analyzing measurement data (e.g. airflow, temperature, pressure, or vibration) and turning it into actionable insights.
Presenting and documenting results support decision-making and future development.
Designing, building, and improving ventilation solutions for in-house test rigs and full-scale machines to enhance process robustness and reliability.
Contributing technical ideas and practical solutions to ongoing R&D projects related to machinery performance and reliability.

What you know
You are pursuing a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field - your continued studies mean we can collaborate long-term.
You have a solid foundation in the statics and dynamics of machinery.
You have a solid foundation in the fluid mechanics
Think creatively and work independently, while also being a strong team player who speaks up when it matters.
Is fluent in English, both written and spoken.

As a person you are open and informal, enjoy communicating and interacting with your colleagues, and are used to working in project teams. You have a systematic approach to your work and drive for data innovations.
