About the job
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering engineered solutions and supporting our existing line of tank cleaning equipment. You’ll be responsible for designing components, systems, and plants for low-complexity projects, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer needs and industry standards.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including purchasing, project management, and engineering—to develop and refine mechanical designs that meet performance, cost, and quality targets. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and contributing to continuous improvement.
This is a hybrid role based in Coatesville, PA.
As a part of the team, you will:
Design and improve mechanical components and systems based on performance requirements and customer feedback.
Evaluate the feasibility of new designs or modifications, balancing cost, time, and technical constraints.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and factory teams to resolve issues and streamline operations.
Perform calculations and analysis to support design decisions and ensure product performance.
Review test data and reports to validate that designs meet functional and safety standards.
Manage engineering tasks of moderate complexity across multiple projects.
What you know:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience), and:
Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Willingness to occasionally work in hands-on environments (lifting 5–30 lbs, climbing tanks, using ladders)
Occasional travel to customer sites and/or vendors, less than 5% travel annually
What’s in it for you?
