The position / About the Job:

We are seeking a data-driven B2B Performance Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across search (Google/Bing) and LinkedIn, with a strong focus on driving qualified leads, pipeline contribution, and measurable ROI. You will also play a critical role in testing emerging platforms—from GenAI-powered ads to the next breakthrough digital channel—to expand our reach and scale performance, forward-thinking ways whilst pushing the boundaries of our way of working.

What will you do?

You will work closely with our divisional marketing team headquartered in Scandinavia to position our brand, raise awareness, generate leads, convert prospects into buyers, and build loyalty across the full customer lifecycle. Together, we are on a mission to drive purposeful growth, supporting our customers as Alfa Laval leads the charge in their sustainable transition.

This is a hands-on role requiring agility, business acumen, analytical rigor, and a strong grasp of B2B buying behavior.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across Search Ads (Google, Bing) , Social Media Ads (Primarily Linkedin, but occasional Facebook and Instagram), and other performance marketing channels.
  • Own and manage campaign performance, including budget pacing, bid strategies, A/B testing, audience segmentation, and funnel conversion tracking.
  • Develop targeting strategies tailored to key personas and industries in partnership with Divisional, Business Unit and Regional Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Monitor and report on campaign KPIs such as CPL, CTR, CVR, CAC, providing regular insights and recommendations.
  • Explore and test emerging platforms (e.g., ChatGPT search, Reddit Ads, Quora, programmatic, YouTube, paid newsletters, podcast sponsorships) for B2B demand generation.
  • Collaborate with content specialists and/or explore the use of GenAI to develop high-converting ad copy, landing pages, and ad assets.
  • Maintain strong hygiene and data integrity within ad platforms and integrate seamlessly with our CRM (MS Dynamics) and marketing automation tools (Marketo).
  • Stay current on performance marketing trends, industry benchmarks, and platform updates to keep our strategy sharp and competitive.

Preferred Skill & Knowledge:

  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience managing B2B paid media campaigns, with a focus on Google Search and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Experience with ABM, retargeting strategies.
  • Proven track record of improving paid performance metrics and driving tangible pipeline results.
  • Analytical mindset with advanced Excel/Sheets skills and experience using data platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, PowerBI).
  • Experience with ad testing, creative iteration, and messaging refinement.
  • Curiosity and a testing mindset for emerging ad platforms and demand-gen experiments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
  • Bonus: previous working experience in a remote team is a plus but not necessary.

You will be based in our regional office in Pune, India, reporting primarily to the Digital Demand Generation Manager for the Food & Pharma Division (based at Copenhagen, Denmark). Locally, you will also report to our Head of Cluster Marketing, ensuring day-to-day support, team belonging, and on-the-ground guidance.

You are expected to travel approximately 15 - 25 days per year to meet with the Divisional teams based in Nordic cities.
