But now we want to be even better! We’re looking for a passionate Product Expert for our Business Unit (BU) Marine Solutions, Vessel Infrastructure Efficiency Service (VIES)department.
BU Marine Solutions, Vessel Infrastructure Efficiency Service, is responsible for all after sales business in Marine and Diesel applications within the BU. It covers spare parts, retrofit, upgrading and services.

About the job
You will be responsible for providing technical product support to customers, sales companies (field service and service centers) and central teams for Fresh Water Generators (AQUA, JWP, MEP, ORCA). You provide comprehensive technical guidance to sales organizations, customers and central teams regarding product-related services: troubleshooting and resolving complex service issues, supporting performance audits and analysis, offering expert input for training and development programs, and contributing to Engineering Product Development (EPD), New Product Development (NPD) and product concept creation, with a focus on service and serviceability.
Your tasks:
Answering tickets and technical product questions sent by service development managers.
Act as consultant to service development managers in EPD and NPD projects, and join EPD and NPD projects.
Document solutions provided to automation and mechanical issues.
Prepare and publish service bulletins, and build and maintain the service bulletin archive.
Build, maintain and secure that all product related documents (part catalogues, manuals, etc.) are available and up to date.
Be the main support to the training team with product competence.
Deliver training and learning activities for employees, business partners and end-users, including hands-on training of Graduated and Senior Service Engineers.
Participate in the development of repair methods and technical instructions.
Support solving customer claims.
University degree in mechanical, electrical, marine engineering or similar.
Expert level of knowledge on desalination systems and/or heat transfer products.
At least 5-6 years’ experience within a related technical field.
Good knowledge of vessel engine room, marine water production systems and energy efficiency.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
