About the job
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Product Marketing specialist for our Business Unit Welded and Circular Technologies (BU WCT) within Alfa Laval’s Energy Division. What do we do? We are committed to empowering our customers for the future with innovative & engineered solutions for heat exchange and separation technologies.
In this role, you will join a new product marketing team and contribute to the development of our work within the business unit. Your responsibilities will include driving, develop, and executing product marketing activities, such as new product launches, value proposition definition, and other strategic initiatives across the business unit. As product marketing specialist, your mission is to connect and bridge market insights and customer needs with innovative and impactful product strategies, not only ensuring our offerings’ technical advantages are promoted but also powerfully positioned and differentiated in the marketplace. You will translate business priorities into effective campaigns and activation activities, while coordinating and aligning efforts across channels, markets, and stakeholders to maximize impact.
Key Responsibilities
Product launches & go-to-market strategies: Drive, deliver and monitor successful product and service launches in collaboration with product management, key markets stakeholders and customers.
Product positioning & messaging: Own and develop differentiated positioning and messaging for current and new products and solutions, including value propositions, benefits, personas, features, USPs.
Performance reporting: Maintain an overview and follow-up across ongoing projects and activities.
Foster collaboration amongst teams: Collaborate closely with product management, central and local sales teams, divisional and local marketing teams and other stakeholders to ensure alignment, coordination and effective execution of initiatives across regions and functions.
Support overall product marketing activities
This position is located in Lund (Sweden) and you report to the Head of Product management & Product Marketing The position is a temporary role until 2028-01-31, covering a parental leave.
What You Know
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience within marketing, communication, product marketing, or related commercial roles—preferably in a global B2B environment.
Experience with product launches, digital campaigns, or other cross-functional marketing projects.
Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive activities across multiple functions and markets.
Solid understanding of segmentation, positioning, and customer-oriented marketing principles.
Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages such as Swedish, French or Italian is a plus.
