About the job…
In this role, the QHSE Engineer supports to maintain and develop Quality, Health, Safety and Environment management systems according to relevant standards, to assess/maintain compliance with QHSE legislation and Corporate and BFB BU QHSE Policies, Directives and Standards.
This is an onsite position located in Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate ISO14001/ISO14064/ ISO14067/ ISO50001 implementation in BHE Richmond factory.
Identify & run the continuous improvement initiatives together with the local organization to meet corporate and BFB targets/Roadmap for Sustainability.
Contribute to develop QHSE & Sustainability management systems, with focus on auditing process, KPIs management, training/competences development, SOPs and instructions and improvement projects/activities.
Coordinate QHSE and Quality customers request process.
Be the reference person in BHE Richmond factory for Framework.
Oversee document control activities to ensure compliance is maintained to secure the Quality requirements during manufacturing processes.
Perform process audits and internal audits of the Quality Management System & monitor the effectiveness.
Meet ASME requirements on a daily basis in terms of documentation, load, certificates etc.
What you know:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (f.e. Environmental, Industrial, Mechanical).
Certified in or exposed to ISO14001/ISO14062/ ISO14067/ ISO50001.
Preferably Six Sigma experience with any belt level and a demonstrated use of quality tools.
Relevant experience in an international or complex organization.
Approximately 2-4 years of experience in a similar position.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
