About the job
Existing product development (EPD) is an important part of R&D within Business Unit Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers (GPHE). The EPD team has the global responsibility and competence for development, product care and technical support of the existing GPHE range.
As Manager EPD you will lead and coach a team of skilled development engineers in their daily work. You will have the overall responsibility to build up and continuously develop your organization.
You will plan, coordinate and manage both short and long-term duties. You have the overall responsibility for the GPHE components’ strategy. To be successful in your role you work across different organizations in Alfa Laval.
You will be part of the management team for R&D GPHE where you will contribute to the development of R&D to ensure we are successful now and in the future.
What you know
We believe you have an academic degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience working in an R&D environment preferably with design.
You possess a strong technology focus and have an interest in R&D. You can communicate effectively in English, in writing as well as verbally, and deliver professional presentations at all levels, internally as well as externally.
