About the job

As a Group Accountant, you will support the quarterly and annual closings for the Alfa Laval Group. Together with your team, you will prepare timely and accurate reports for the Swedish stock exchange. You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in group accounting and participate in our ongoing journey to improve and digitalize our group reporting processes.

Your main tasks will include:

• Group consolidation for the Alfa Laval Group
• Inter-company reconciliations
• Preparing public quarterly and annual reports
• Implementing updates to the IFRS framework
• Contributing to the improvement and maintenance of the Financial Manual
• ESEF tagging and reporting
• Participating in projects focused on efficiency and improvements
• Handling other ad hoc tasks as needed

You will be part of a supportive Group Finance team, working closely with colleagues and finance staff in our subsidiaries. Your responsibilities may evolve over time, but will always focus on consolidation and financial reporting.

What you know

You have knowledge and experience in group accounting and the IFRS framework, and a strong interest in further developing your skills. You are curious, proactive, and enjoy working with people from different parts of the organization. You are comfortable working both in a team and independently, and you have an analytical and structured approach, even during work peaks.

You hold a relevant qualification (i.e. a university degree in finance or accounting) and have around 3–5 years of work experience, ideally from auditing or group accounting, preferably in a listed company environment.

Fluency in both Swedish and English (spoken and written) is required, as all our reporting is conducted in both languages.
