Alfa Laval’s Global IT Delivery Centre, play a pivotal role in enabling and delivering technical capacity across the organization. Our operations are overseen by Line Managers who ensure that delivery excellence, resource alignment, and strategic priorities are consistently met.

The Centre is home to a diverse team of 200+ professionals, each contributing specialized expertise across a wide range of technologies. Our scope spans from maintaining and optimizing legacy systems to implementing and innovating with the latest modern applications and solutions. This breadth of capability allows us to support Alfa Laval’s global business needs with agility, resilience, and forward‑looking solutions.


By combining deep technical knowledge with collaborative practices, the Global IT Delivery Centre serves as a hub of innovation and operational strength, ensuring that Alfa Laval remains competitive and future‑ready in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

 

About the job


This role calls for an IT People Manager with proven leadership experience. You will be responsible for managing talent and competence pool, driving people development, fostering cross‑functional collaboration, driving and supporting people process, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. Success in this position requires very good leadership skills deep focus on people, ability to cultivate talent and unlock potential. IT background, interest in AI tools, and good understanding of SAFe Agile methodology is beneficial.

 

Who You Are


We are looking for a person with End-to-End responsibility of all activities within the defined domain. Lead and manage the team in accordance with Alfa Laval DNA and Lean Agile leadership.

 

Your Responsibilities:


  • Lead, coach, manage, develop and recruit people and teams within the area of responsibility, supporting them to reach their highest potential with focus on agile, customer- and service-oriented behaviors.
  • Assure the SAFe/Agile structure and mechanisms are implemented and secure execution.
  • Manage up and across the team: eliminate impediments and relentlessly improve operations and flow.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in line with overall decided structure, templates, engagement and governance models.
  • Exposure to service delivery, financial management, supplier management, system ownership and TCO (total cost ownership) for the area.
  • Lead the change: demonstrate the values, mindset, and principles of Lean-Agile Leadership.
  • Explore new ways of working, improve and develop GITDC framework, standards and organization.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, Financial Controllers, HR Business Partners and Group Digital stakeholders.

Your Skills & Experience:


  • People management and Leadership.
  • People development, cultivating talent, fostering leadership growth, and building resilient teams.
  • Guiding cross‑functional collaboration, aligning diverse stakeholders, and ensuring seamless delivery across complex organizational structures.
  • Understanding of SAFe Agile framework, championing agile practices, continuous improvement, and organizational agility.
  • Deep understanding of what constitutes good digital experience and how to work for increased efficiency and connectivity for all employees.
  • Fluent in English is a must. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in effectively engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage change effectively, ensuring smooth transitions and organizational adoption of new processes.
  • Budgeting and forecasting control.
  • Experience and good understanding of IT environment would be beneficial.
  • Interest in AI tools, especially supporting performance and productivity.
