Who you are:

Dynamic supply chain role to develop the business capabilities focusing on the interface between Sales and the factory, ensuring orders are accurate, feasible, and aligned with factory capabilities.  This includes the order entry, order tracking and customer communication.  This position is a key function in the management team, and visible leadership role in the factory operation. 

You are the single point contact with the BU & Sales company with knowledge and competence to ensure demand plans/forecasts are well defined and communicated across the factory organization to secure market lead times can be achieved for high speed separators, Merco, and Decanter product lines.

This position requires excellent communication, structured coordination externally and internally and continuous improvement behavior along with excellent staff development committment.

About the job:

  • Responsible for the performance the unit, including financial KPIs
  • Standardize, optimize, and improve the order handling functions within the unit
  • Set and follow up targets for the unit connected to factory priority
  • Participate in making the factory Operational plan
  • Support the costing update process for the unit
  • Drive and lead ALPS & Continuous Improvement activities
  • Lead and develop the people in unit
  • Work together with management team to achieve factory’s KPI target
  • Proactive communication with customers, suppliers, internal & external Operation
  • Implement lean principles to improve flow, reduce waste, and enhance responsivness
  • Champion cross-functional problem solving and operational excellence
  • Secure ALPS Implementation, including Lean Six Sigma and 5S
  • Drive and lead CSB meetings within cell

Order Handling

  • Deliver a cross functional service to the customer in order to meet the customer demands
  • Secure a timely and accurate communication to the customer and within own organization
  • Registrant orders and monitor order settlement process (delay, move forward, orders on hold, TBA)
  • Ensure that orders are maintained and updated. Handle returns, commission, credit/debit. Coordinate and follow up on claims from customers
  • Monitor order fulfillment performance and establish metrics to assess factors such as quality, LT, cost vs ref unit and delivery performance
  • Collaborate to find ways of improving efficiency or reducing waste
  • Secure ERP system utilization for all activities to support visibility to all users of the supply chain
  • Forecasting S&OP cross function alignment

Lead the S&OP process

  • Collaborate with BU/Sales on forecast accuracy, order prioritization, customer delivery commitments
  • Must have good analytical and planning skills to establish supply requirements based on input from teh BU for each product
  • Responsible to develop factory forecasts based on input from BU and Sales

Communication

  • Build relationships within the factory departments, business units, and Sales
  • Collaborate with other departments in order to identify problems and find solutions
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with sales company and customers

General

  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations for management
  • Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports
  • Direct the hiring, training, supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations of staff
  • Responsible for the export control function and policies, standards, regulations, or laws

What you know:

  • Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or export agreements
  • Diagram supply chain process to help facilitate improvements and develop standard operating procedures
  • Working knowledge of ERP system
  • Strong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to perform accurate arithmetic computations using applications such as spreadsheet, word processing, email and database software
  •  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 3-5 year experience management responsibility
  • 1-3 years' work experience in multinational manufacturing companies
  • Solid English ability and comfortable working globally in written and oral English
