About the job

As Market Area Manager for Marine Service in the Nordic Sales Company, you will drive growth and business success across the marine service division. You will lead and develop a team of sales engineers and account managers, ensuring customers choose our products and services while securing profitability for Alfa Laval.

The role requires travel within the Nordics to meet with the team and customers. The position can be based in any Nordic country, with preference for Norway or Denmark.

Key tasks

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve division sales and profitability targets.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure effective use of tools, systems, and resources to deliver excellence in the marine sales process.
  • Conduct market and customer analysis to define business potential and opportunities.
  • Create sales and business plans, including forecasting for the marine service business.
  • Act as the primary contact for the Central BU service sales organization.
  • Proactively drive sales of products, parts, upgrades, replacements, and services, including participation in key customer meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry bodies.

What you know

To succeed in this position, you have:

  • Proven sales performance combined with managerial experience in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with Scandinavian or other European languages as a strong advantage.
  • High digital competence, including Microsoft Office and modern collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of the marine industry, including equipment, is an advantage.
  • The role requires eligibility to travel within the Nordics and Europe at short notice, typically 30–50 days annually.

Location

Based in Denmark, with flexibility for other Nordic countries.
